Ode is a free conversational AI experience that explores whether advanced AI can help people access comfort, reflection and creativity in moments when they need it most. Users can have natural conversations about how they’re feeling with an AI voice companion modelled on William Sieghart, creator of anthology series "The Poetry Pharmacy". The companion responds by recommending poetry tailored to their emotional state from a carefully curated library.The experience combines Microsoft’s latest AI capabilities with the therapeutic principles behind "The Poetry Pharmacy", creating a new way for people to discover poetry through conversation rather than search.Recommended poems are delivered through pre-recorded performances by acclaimed actors and cultural figures, including an opening video from Stephen Fry and readings by Harriet Walter, Indira Varma and Dominic West.
