Taking Gothic Glamour on Holiday

Morticia Addams finds her perfect getaway with Booking.com.

 Booking.com partnered with Netflix’s smash-hit series Wednesday for a global TV and social campaign,  fusing  gothic elegance with the world of travel.  Fronted by Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, the work transports the Addams matriarch from her shadowy manor to stylish escapes booked through Booking.com.

Our Creative Approach
The campaign builds on Booking.com’s global “Find whatever you’re booking for” platform, showing that even the most impossible-to-please traveller – Morticia Addams – can find her perfect getaway. Created by Gravity Road, Jellyfish and Biscuit Productions, the idea was to create a brand campaign that lived entirely inside the Wednesday universe. To ensure authenticity, much of the original Wednesday production team reunited, from costume and production design to cinematography, capturing the eerie elegance and offbeat wit fans expect.

The Partnership
The collaboration united Booking.com, Netflix, and multiple creative partners with a shared ambition: to craft a campaign that didn’t just appear in feeds, but lit them up. By merging a cultural juggernaut with a travel brand, the work demonstrates how culturally credible IP integrations can create true fan love while delivering global brand impact.

The Launch
The campaign broke on Wednesday 6 August, aligned with the release of Wednesday Season 2 Part 1, and is rolling out across TV, digital, and social platforms in the UK, US, Australia, France and Germany.
